I am Diane Becker and I've been writing professionally for 25 years.
As a mother of six children and a wife of a farmer, I've had lots to write about in 25 years as a columnist for the Norfolk Daily News. The last 15 years I've written a monthly column for the Nebraska Farmer magazine.
I have also written curriculum, features, newsletter content and press releases for the University of Nebraska, the City of Norfolk and other businesses and organizations.
As a web page designer, I have designed content and constructed over 100 websites.
I have a masters' degree in education and have taught web page development and computer application classes at the local community college.
In 2009 I graduated from Nebraska LEAD XXVII, a two year program designed to educate agriculture leaders in Nebraska. An international seminar to China, south Korea and Hong Kong was part of that experience.
I serve as the secretary of the Nebraska Soybean Association Board, as treasurer of our local high school Booster Club and as a promoter of my family. I am also a rabid soccer mom.
And I write. A lot.
